Terms of Use

These Terms of Use form the agreement between you and Tugay Acar for the use of Word Arena. They take effect when you accept them on the consent screen shown at launch. If you do not accept them, you cannot use the game.

1. Licence

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the game on your own device for personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights in the game's code, graphics, audio, word lists and design belong to Tugay Acar.

2. Your account

• A guest account is keyed to your device identifier. If the device is lost or the identifier is reset, access to the account may not be recoverable.
• Each account's language is fixed at registration and cannot be changed; a different language means a separate account.
• Accounts may not be sold, rented or transferred.
• If you are under 18, you may use the game only with parental or guardian approval.

3. Fair play

The following are prohibited and may lead to suspension or closure of your account: modified clients, bots, automation, memory or packet tampering, forged requests to the server; deliberate manipulation of league points, leaderboards or rewards (including match-fixing and multi-account point transfers); using another player's account; offensive or infringing usernames; and any attempt to overload or disrupt the service.

4. Virtual currency and items

• Coins and cards are virtual items. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be sold or transferred outside the game.
• Entry fees are deducted at the start of a match; rewards are calculated on the server and are final. If your connection drops, the outcome defined by the game rules applies.
• Virtual items grant a right of use for as long as the game operates, not perpetual ownership. See section 8 if the game is discontinued.
• Fees, rewards and prices may change for balance reasons. Changes apply going forward and never remove a balance you have already earned.

5. In-app purchases and withdrawal

Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to that store's terms. Virtual items are digital content supplied immediately; once the item is credited to your account, performance is complete and the right of withdrawal no longer applies. Your other statutory consumer rights (for faulty or undelivered content) remain unaffected. For a mistaken purchase, request a refund through the store and you may also write to [email protected].

6. Advertising

The game may show rewarded and interstitial ads. If you buy the "remove ads" product, interstitials stop and rewarded-ad rewards are granted instantly without watching an ad.

7. Availability and liability

The game is provided "as is". It may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, infrastructure faults or provider outages. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the game. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived by contract.

8. Suspension, closure and deletion

• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. No refund is made for virtual items on a closed account.
• You may have your account and data deleted at any time by writing to [email protected]. Deletion means the loss of your virtual items.
• If we discontinue the game, we will announce it in-game a reasonable time in advance where possible and stop selling paid virtual items from that date.

9. Your personal data

How your data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy. By accepting these terms you confirm that you are aware the servers are located outside Türkiye and that your data is transferred abroad.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; on material changes the game asks for your consent again at launch. Turkish law governs this agreement. Consumer disputes may be brought before the Turkish Consumer Arbitration Committees or consumer courts.
